A Merry Christmas, Life Is Great
I have spent the last 6 days with family, both my husband’s family and my own. After seeing families that are divorced, separated, or just not happy, I am once again reminded of how blessed I am.
I have a child that is my angel. Smart, sweet, and very well behaved. Probably a better child than what I deserve. My son is the reason I try to be a better person.
I have a husband that I thank God for everyday. Meeting him and falling in love was the turning point of my life getting better and better. I can talk to him about anything, and he will listen. We may not always be the perfect happy couple, but I believe we are much happier than most couples you will ever meet. He is my soulmate, my rock of strength and unconditional love. Seeing him walk in the room is like seeing him for the first time, every time. There is a safety in his arms that I could never find anywhere else.
Being in our house together tonight, listening to the two of them playing is such a blessing to me. It’s a happiness and calm feeling that can’t be bought. No presents or gifts can give you the peace of a loving family.
